The whole document is worth a read, especially for those of us in a leadership position. As someone that started their career as a Developer and works hard to bring empathy and alignment with my development teams and the needs of the business, that was a hard stat to read. I get it though. The pace of change for all roles in the tech industry has accelerated as we all try to figure out how AI fits into our workflows (and where it doesn't). Add in a dash of economic uncertainty and endless rounds of layoffs across the industry to really add layers to the problem.
