Building Leaders
As part of my leadership work, I help managers and senior leaders strengthen decision-making, communication, and accountability. The focus isn’t theory—it’s building leaders who can run teams well and improve execution day to day.
In my experience, the most common root cause isn’t compensation or culture—it’s leadership. When managers lack clarity, confidence, or the tools to lead effectively, teams disengage, decisions stall, and execution breaks down.
How I Approach Leadership Development
Most leaders are promoted because they were great individual contributors—not because they were trained to lead people, manage complexity, or drive execution. My work focuses on helping leaders make that transition in a practical, durable way.
That means building the skills that directly affect results: clear decision-making, effective communication, accountability, delegation, and navigating change. I don’t teach leadership theory—I work with leaders in the context of their real challenges so new habits actually stick.
I’ve helped develop future leaders across my career and it’s truly one of the most rewarding aspects of what I’ve ever done. The investment you make now will pay dividends for your leaders and across your team.
The result isn’t just better managers—it’s stronger execution, healthier teams, reduced turnover, and leaders who scale with the organization instead of becoming bottlenecks
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to learn from Jesse over the last 6 years. Any organization would benefit from his leadership, perspective, and heart. - Stacy Crichton, VP of Delivery at BlueModus
In a world shaped by rapid change and AI, your leaders need practical, thoughtful development that strengthens both people and execution.
That might mean helping a new manager run effective one-on-ones, guiding a leadership team through reorganization, or coaching a senior leader through high-stakes decisions during rapid change.
We’ll talk about your leadership challenges and whether coaching or development support would be useful right now.
